Summary:
Georgia Mountains Health is seeking a Receptionist/Medical Assistant for an immediate full-time position for the Chatsworth GMH/Healthy Families medical location.
GMH is an established medical practice offering benefits, stability, and has a family friendly work schedule of Monday - Friday 8am-6pm no nights, no weekends, and holidays off.
The Receptionist/MA is primarily responsible for greeting people entering the office, determining nature and purpose of visit, patient scheduling, verification of insurance, medical records, fee information and collection, and perform other administrative support tasks.
The candidate should be comfortable with computers in general and EMR systems preferably, Athena.
Candidates must have good communication skills (both written and oral) and understand and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Ability to handle moderate levels of stress in a fast-paced environment.
