The Maintenance Technician II will join a dynamic technical workforce to lead the growing movement on sustainable textile and materials manufacturing for diverse industries, from automotive to luxury home furnishing producers.
Job Duties & Functions:
Oversee all maintenance, repair, and installation initiatives in machinery and equipment.
Complete technical tasks related to machinery, electricity, and plumbing.
Troubleshoot issues with equipment and other technical problems in the production line.
Ensure compliance and workplace safety to all federal and local guidelines in machinery and production processes.
Repair machines and respond to emergencies to limit downtime.
Maintain maintenance records to address problems and provide solutions.
Oversee inventory of parts, tools, and materials & order as needed.
Qualifications:
4
years of related experience or education.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and parts.
Welding experience (preferred).
Ability to operate hand, power, and specialized tools.
Knowledge of safety procedures, potential hazards, and repair techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills & communication.
Team player and ability to work with minimal supervision.
