Sales Internship
Internship Program Description:
Beaulieu is looking for the best and the brightest to work with our team as we improve our business processes, procedures, and culture.
The pay rate is $15.00 per hour. We are looking for someone to work approximately 8 to 10 hours per week.

Beaulieu's internship program intends to:
Enable you to be part of a team that is making exciting improvement to our products and processes daily.
Enable you to teach us some new and exciting ways of thinking.
Enable you to make a difference immediately.
Enable you to participate in multiple aspects and functions within the Beaulieu professional organization to include sales, marketing, finance and pricing.
Initially you may just join us for a semester. Post graduation, we hope to convince you to join us for a lifetime. Come be a part of the exciting team at Beaulieu.
Qualifications:
Our internships have flexible schedules to enable you to attend necessary classes. To be eligible for the internship program, candidates are required to be enrolled at an accredited post-secondary educational institution, or have graduated from one within the 6 months prior to the start date of the internship. Marketing, Communications, and Business students/graduates are eligible to apply. Candidates who do not meet these guidelines will not be considered.
Role
Summary:
As a local intern the applicant shall support Sales Associates with the following Responsibilities:
Develop a basic knowledge of each step involving the manufacturing, administrative and sales functions of the carpet industry.
Understand cost efficiency, safety, and quality as it relates to our industry.
Participates in meetings and presentations as needed.
Seek out and pursue new business opportunities that provide revenue growth.
Develop, communicate and oversee a strategic direction aimed at growing sales.
Develop and advance supportive relations with key accounts.
Construct annual business plans with capacity to adjust strategies to meet business objectives.
Superior time management and organizational skills to meet strategic initiatives.
Assist with contract negotiations.
Communicate customer needs to internal departments.
Travel to applicable markets to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
Track and analyze data in order to provide information to assist in sales growth.
Communicate with customers on order status and issues.
Embraces Servant Leadership.
Develop positive relationships and interact with all relevant internal departments.
Demonstrate ability for continuous learning in a highly competitive, fast changing marketplace.
Support all aspects of the 9 Beaulieu Leadership and Success Training principles.(BLAST)
Demonstrates ability to understand, utilize, and execute against Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) strategies.
Strong communications skills including oral, written, presentation and active listening.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
