Claims Analyst

Job Summary

The Claims Analyst provides after sales service to our customers by quickly and fairly resolving all disputes while following company policies.
Duties
Handle the processing of all claims within specified area to resolve fairly and timely manner based on company policies.
Answer phones with courteous and pleasant Demeanor.
Communicate effectively with manager regards to handling claims problems and trends.
Other duties assigned by management.
Supervision
Performs duties with minimum supervision of Regional Manager.
Accountabilities
Has authority to resolve claims under $3,000
Has responsibility to work all reports and update claims notes
Has responsibility to enter all mail faxes and other communication.
Qualification-Training
High School Diploma
Some College preferred
Qualification-Experience
4 years experience in carpet claims or industry experience (i.e. Installation, manufacturing, etc.)
Experience and knowledge in manufacturing process
Experience and knowledge in Credit and Accounts Receivable.
Experience with Word, Excel. And 10 key calculator. AS-400 a plus.
Excellent Verbal and written communication
Prefer keyboarding of 40 WPM
Industry certification a plus.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
