Summary:
We are current looking for an Auto Desk Appraiser to work inside our Kemper Chatsworth, CA or Phoenix, AZ office. As our Desk Appraiser you will prepare and review written auto appraisals (including heavy equipment, campers, boats, ATVs, trailers) and apply skills and expertise to bring material damage claims to a conclusion. You will compile, estimate and submit detailed lists of materials and labor required to repair/replace damaged auto in compliance with local regulations. Document all actions through creating claim files in accordance with policy and procedural guidelines established by Claims management. Establishes vehicle valuations using automated software and market surveys.
Position
Qualifications:
College degree or equivalent work experience.

years of Auto Damage Appraiser experience or equivalent work experience.
ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Damage Analysis & Estimating Certification (Test B6) preferred.
ICAR ProLevel 2 or equivalent work experience preferred.
This position will be working California claims.
Must possess knowledge of principles of casualty insurance and the auto casualty claims adjustment process.
